Guest guest
Here is a list of possible signs compiled by Anita in the Files sections. It is entitled Viral Information and Resources . . . http://tinyurl.com/y8vzeuh What might viral issues look like in my child? I have been unable to establish any precise list of what viral signs would look like—there is too much controversy. Some of the signs listed are considered soft signs while others are considered more valid indicators. It would depend on who you spoke to which category any of these possible indicators falls into. In researching this file I read many times that dealing with viral issues is sometimes like chelating autistic children: the only way to know for sure if it is going to work is to try it and do it properly. Some children might display the following signs: Motor problems, including fine motor problems. Sometimes these problems are one-sided (often the right side seems weaker). Some people believe that toe-walking is also a sign. The child seems to move from improved behaviour to more autistic behaviour for no apparent reason. These cycles of progression then regression might last weeks or months. Less autistic behaviours during and immediately following fevers followed by a return to more typical behaviours after this time has passed. Chronic viral-like illnesses or no symptoms of ever being sick. Negative reaction after MMR vaccination. Cold sores/fever blisters/unexplained sores in or around mouth. Warts, plantar warts. Continual gut problems in spite of all possible efforts to alleviate them. Improvement while on antibiotics—this may be a result of a concomitant bacterial problem. Hyperactivity OCD, scripting, repeating fairly meaningless actions (tics) or sounds. Staying in own world (see for example the recovery video of Ethan as mentioned below for this last one). Sensory integration disorder, eye or ear sensitivity Hypotonia. > Ok since my son just goes 'crazy " with anti-viral medication and even the 'naturals' I am wondering is this a good indicator that he may have some stuff going on in his body that is making him act out when given anti virals? Viral die off caused a lot of yeast overgrowth here. So if your child has viruses and you give anti-virals, you will probably see yeast overgrowth. > also someone said there was no need to use anti viral b/c the removing of metals should also help with this b/c they attach themselves to the metals.please eleborate on this if possible. Chelation did not affect viruses here. Dana
Guest guest
For us, chelation was enough without the antivirals. I believe that DMSA is an antiviral, possibly the antiretroviral Dr. Yasko claims it is. I have recently been taking l-lysine myself and wowzer, it's kicking my butt!! I have lots of sores in my mouth, got quite sick/achy feeling and I am still sore. I decided I couldn't handle chelating this weekend because of it. I think you are going to know whether you CAN do it or not. If chelation is going pretty smooth and yeast is generally under control, then go ahead. Then again, maybe you could rotate, chelation one weekend, antivirals the next. Don't know how anyone else feels about that, but it might be worth considering. (I'm considering it as I type this > > I posted earlier about if I should treat for viruses at this stage of chelation. Most of you said yes.We had done tests years ago were there was bo indication of viruses in my child but I think this is proabbly inaccurate. > > Ok since my son just goes 'crazy " with anti-viral medication and even the 'naturals' I am wondering is this a good indicator that he may have some stuff going on in his body that is making him act out when given anti virals? > > also someone said there was no need to use anti viral b/c the removing of metals should also help with this b/c they attach themselves to the metals.please eleborate on this if possible. > > thanks for your help....jake's mom >
Guest guest
Some organisms are very toxic when they die, which can be very stressful, physically, and can have psychological fall-out as well. For me, probably the biggest challenge with getting well is pacing myself so that I don't have excessive and overwhelming negative side effects -- in other words, killing stuff at a pace that actually reduces infection overall without being too much to handle. When you kill infection, the body has a bunch of dead stuff in it that has to be shoveled out somehow and other things can feed on that dead stuff (like yeast, but I think also other infections). So reducing one infection can temporarily make another worse. This can be a tricky balancing act. If you haven't done this yet, you might try starting natural, nutritional antivirals at a low dose and gradually increasing it. It is possible that your child " goes crazy " because the dose is too high and this is causing bad die off which is simply overwhelming his system with toxic die-off. You might try Celtic sea salt. Salt is a major component of mucus. Mucus lines all the organs that are involved in letting things into or out of the body (the mouth, the lungs, the sinuses, the digestive tract, female reproductive tract). My genetic disorder causes major problems with all of these organs and also causes the body to misprocess salt. My experience has been that a good quality sea salt has gone a long way towards improving my baseline health. I believe sea salt provides nutritional support for the production of healthy mucus and this closes a major gateway to infection in people with cystic fibrosis. It seems obvious to me that inadequate nutritional support for mucus production would cause anyone to be more vulnerable to infection. So if you think there is a problem with infection, I think this is a primary issue to address. Correcting PH balance is the other major pathway to infection that I have worked on with tremendous success. People with my genetic disorder tend to be highly acid and the American diet is generally too acid. Work on a healthy PH balance (not too acid and not too alkaline -- though most people are too acid, it is possible to go too far in the other direction) and you will see a general decline in infection. Correct PH balance is a primary defense against virii in specific. I rarely get colds now that I have that issue under control most of the time. Good luck with this.
