Guest guest
I had been asked to help promote these advocacies. However if I cannot find a way to help and it's insulting to try and help it seems kind of confusing. I am talking on topic, not insulting or inflaming but you attack me but I am the one inflaming which is weird. It just does not make sense. So if you will please stop responding to my posts or even reading them to find ways to create conflict where none was intended then you will find a way to get along. If my post cannot be responded to then there is no merit in the controversy and progress does not seem to be able to be made. Now I am not expecting clear fact but rather dialog about it. I am not here to judge a point of view. I'm simply creating relevant conversation as an equal participant and had not intention of insulting and inflaming you and I am not your mind to know your rules of conversation. I'm not trying to cause conflict and it's just a vicious cycle for me to banter with you. I am not taking a side concerning this issue I'm simply investigating by asking questions. This is perfectly respectable and within the scope of the social parameters. Guest guest
That's clearly not the case. The problem is once someone behaves like you are doing now it seems to alienate the while " cause " . Now I understand you do not know me and I am schooled simply in critical thought. To me your responses possibly denote an emotion and cause to actually hinder rather then help the point of view. This might be because you have been attacked in the past but I guarantee you I'm not trying to be your enemy. However if you are unwilling to tell me what the problems are other then other people hate you, have hated you and or have disagreed then I cannot make up my own mind. It would seem you want me to disagree with you by not helping me understand. When concerning me remember I am only aware of some of the controversy and have never been emotionally involved in it to believe either way. Some autism pride advocates would say autism viewed as a disorder like to be caused by mercury is insulting. Asking question that might imply any way will insult someone. Guest guest
So it would seem that the thought it special interest has something to loose by acknowledgment the home grown science and discovery as what is seen here. If someone get results by alternative treatment and it's not just effective with one individual but least some in a group then I think this is science and fact. So WebMD and the likes of them don't want to know or display this truth? What does the special interest have to loose? Can you explain, does it have to do with money in general and or liability? You chose to partake in the topic and attack without any constructive input but attacking. Everyone has an agenda. I don't know much about this topic so I ask questions. Guest guest
hee hee. Silly man! This is alternative medicine... most MD-based organizations think we are crazy/desperate. Some of our interventions are based purely on anectodal evidence and some is based on research that challenges long held beliefs which is quite threatening to the current medical establishment, because sadly it places some of the blame on them and their practices. Hard pill to swallow, so to speak. You can choose to believe who you wish to believe. That is your own journey to navigate. Personally, I've seen my son improve beyond all expectations (of MDs) as a result of our contraversial autism treatments (diet, supplements and chelation for us), and I'm here to stay regardless of any stamp of approval from WebMD. Good luck to you! Pam > > I was wondering if any of what you folks talk about here is on WebMD. If it is not can you put that information there?
