Guest guest
On the point of absorption, you can also try Bioperine. That's a component of black pepper which increases the absorption of all nutrients and can be found in supplements. Taken along with other supplements can be effective. More nutrients absorbed should decrease the effect on the stools, though not sure by how much. From: nikitasmom33 <nikitasmom33@...> Subject: [ ] Re: constipation on supplements! " > If he had a huge yeast issue, his stools would be mushy, soft, right? Not necessarily. Constipation may be a sign of yeasts for some children. Much higher doses of biotin may be used for yeast control, and again, they require lots of magnesium. Galina
Guest guest
I've read the book, bought it, barrowed it out and not gotten back, she moved. He did enzymes for about 3 years. We've had no changes. Matter of fact and full body rash from Houston chewables, I'm sure it was due to the natural " fruity " flavoring. That was around age 4-5 when not swallowing capsules, which he does now. Had him last on Digest by Enzymedica. Yeah, maybe start them back up too. I'm not sure what the miracle is for " curing " food allergies. We'll do blood work next fall to see how his numbers are, AGAIN! We'll start NAET up again in the spring. Since we had treatment for a ton of things and supposedly we cleared all of them plus all his food allergies. We also did alovera juice with him, allergic reaction, had to give him Benadryl. He can not due pineapple either and this summer we got a rash from strawberries, but a little now and again was fine prior. It's hard! Tammy [ ] constipation on supplements! > > Date: Sunday, October 31, 2010, 10:36 PM > > > > Ok, we took a break from supplements while doing NAET this summer and just started back up with school starting. Back on just a few and constipation issues. I'm doing all Kirkman Labs hypoallergenic, he's a nt boy, age 8 with severe food allergies. Doing VIT E 100 IU, Vit c 250 mg, d-Biotin 1000 mcg, D-3 1000 iu and 100 mg of milk thistle. Added 1000 mg mag Fri, still no luck. > > If I pull everything, he'll be fine. We've not had luck with probiotics and we've stopped digestive enzymes, or actually just not added them back in yet. > > Any ideas guys? I'd appreciate it! > > I think I'll start over, with just the Vit C since he does have a cold right now. Add another in a couple weeks. He is allergic to soy, so maybe the Vit E is giving him issues. > > If he had a huge yeast issue, his stools would be mushy, soft, right? 1000 mcg biotin is nothing.... > > Tammy > >
