Guest guest
My son was on lithium orotate for about 6 months. I didn't see any negatives, but he began to finally talk. He had 2 words, Mama, Dada and then with lithium his speech exploded. I gave him 5mg twice a day. He was 3 1/2. Janet [ ] Lithium, any neg responses I just ordered from Kirkman Lithium. My son's 2 1/2 year old hair test showed no lithium. He's pretty much my drama queen, so I call him. High functioning, PPD-NOS 10.2 son, look ADD with oddities, great kid. Guest guest
I wonder why that would help him talk. It's a mood stabilizer, right? Guest guest
Lithium is known to interfere with the thyroid. My DD took lithium first and I noticed that she was slightly more fatigued. Originally I gave it to her hoping it would help improve her moods, it didn't, so I stopped. But then I took it because my hair lithium is low and it took a few days but I started feeling quite fatigued and even got sick (sinuses). These symptoms are usually thyroid or adrenal for me, so I stopped the lithium and the fatigue & illness went away. Something to watch for if your son has a slow thyroid. > > I just ordered from Kirkman Lithium. My son's 2 1/2 year old hair test showed no lithium. He's pretty much my drama queen, so I call him. Guest guest
I'm not sure but it was the only new supplement that he had been taking at the time. I've read other parents posts saying that it was the missing link for their kids. [ ] Lithium, any neg responses > > I just ordered from Kirkman Lithium. Guest guest
My son's lithium was off the charts low too. I gave him small doses of lithium orotate until he no longer had symptoms of needing it (moody ups and downs). Without the symptoms of needing it, there are negative reactions, I tried it once. I think lithium is something you have to be very careful with and only use when needed, but that it is an EXCELLENT supplement when used properly. Liz > > I just ordered from Kirkman Lithium.
