Hi,

What OTC (over-the-counter) med is okay to give kiddos with extreme

headaches or high fever? I think I remember reading in Andy's book or posts

(? maybe) that adults should avoid ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Seems like

aspirin was mentioned as the preferred analgesic.. But aspirin is not the

preferred OTC med for the pediatric population, right? (The salicylates,

Reye's syndrome, etc.)

Thanks a bunch,

~Robin

You have to be careful with the aspirin as with respiratory diseases/fever

the child can develop Reyes syndrome...
