Guest guest
We are just chelating with dmsa/ala and have been for almost four years regardless of what metals I see coming out. I did try the B1 for Cadmium for myself but it didn't seem to make much difference if I used it or not. So I don't anymore. I figure I take B complex and that has B1 in it. Generally...most of us do not make modifications based upon metals coming out because they seem to come out using regular AC protocol chelation. Jan > > > > In Andy's second book he talks about chelating different metals. Cadmium needs an addtional B1, but you need b1 and taurine if you have a seizure kid, this I know from experience. Thallium needs activated charcoal, potassium supplementation, additional B2 and magnesium. Are people making modifications as per the metals coming out? > > nne >
Guest guest
Jan, Thanks for your response. How old is your child? What are the supplements you are using? I started chelation on my son when he was four. I chelated him religously for 2 1/2 years and then periodically for 1 1/2 years. Jack is now 13. When he was 8, I went another route for a while, IVIG which was very helpful. I think maybe the chelation was taking a toll on his gut because behaviors escalated. Prior to all of the chelation, Jack also had a tumor in his left temporal lobe at 2 1/2yrs. He had two brain surgeries. I now believe chelation should have never been discontinued. He is now showing up Thallium toxic, and Andy says in his 2nd book that thallium can be reabsorbed if you do not use activated charcoal. Jack has many of the symptoms of Thallium toxicity, eye crossing, problems with color identification, low potassium that has affected his gait. I have noticed the extra supplementation suggested in Andy's second book regarding thallium toxicity has been beneficial to Jack's overall present state. If I knew about the problem with thallium years ago; I probably would have modified the supplementation and continued chelating. This got me thinking. Most of our children are not just mercury toxic. They have multiple toxicities, so is it best to modify chelation while different metals come out? Is it necessary? nne > > > > > > > > In Andy's second book he talks about chelating different metals. Guest guest
The book I am referring to is Andy's second book. " Interpreting hair test: Finding hidden toxicities " The book is not in front of me, the title may be a bit off, but the book is very informative. nne > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > In Andy's second book he talks about chelating different metals. Guest guest
Nickel is one of the elements that become elevated when mineral transport is deranged. titanium - it is not uncommon to have very elevated titanium levels when you have mercury induced mineral transport derangement. nne > > What does the book say about nickel and titanium??? > > Thanks, > > ANN > > _____ > > From: [mailto: ] > On Behalf Of nne > Sent: Saturday, February 06, 2010 1:06 PM > > Subject: [ ] ?
