Guest guest
How much of the antifungal meds are you giving? A really high dose, could be a lot of die off. I've only used natural antifungals in my early yeast treating days. Did the Brainchild Nutritional program. You start slow and build up. Really never had the asthma type issues, nose. How much does your child weigh and how much antifungal are you giving? Maybe someone else can chime in on it. Tammy [ ] Antibiotic and antifungus medication Hi, need some feedback on the above. We needed to do a round of this to heal my son's gut before the next course of action- to deal with the heavy metal. I am not sure if it is just pure bad luck, he seemed to contract a cold on hte 3rd day of antibiotic and antifungs treatment. Now, his body is fighting virus, bacteria and fungus all at one and he looks so frail....not to mention persistent cough. Coughing every minutes and nose running like a water pipe. It's so disheartening to see him...the pedeatrician said he could be suffering from a bronchitis or symptoms similar to asthma due to allergy and his airway is constricting. He is also currently taking medication for flu and bronchitis (to relax the air pathway). There is not DAN close to where I live, so I could only consult my pedeatrician. So, would really appreciate to learn from you, under such circumstance, should I continue with the antifungus and antibiotic? He was doing very well before the medication, I am not sure if he is 'allergic' to these medication. Is it possible??
Guest guest
I did natural low dose of antifungals for 3 months before I made a decision to do this becasue my son has streps and other bacteria in his guts. He is on Cedax. Taking 90mg/5ml per day. Also fluconazole 200mg/day He is 2.5 years old and his weight is about 15kgs or 32 lbs. > > How much of the antifungal meds are you giving? Guest guest
Hope your son is better by now. I would wait until he is well before continuing the antifungals. If he is on antibiotics, you would also want to give him some probiotics (separate from the antibiotics since the antibiotics kills the good bacteria too). My son has severe allergies and asthma. After removing sugar and yeast foods (breads, etc.), his asthma was controllable. Diet adjustments help too. > > Hi, need some feedback on the above. > > We needed to do a round of this to heal my son's gut before the next course of action- to deal with the heavy metal. > > I am not sure if it is just pure bad luck, he seemed to contract a cold on hte 3rd day of antibiotic and antifungs treatment. Guest guest
Not sure about anything else, but if you are waiting to heal the gut before chelation you start chelation you will never start. After many rounds and a certain quantity of metals come out of you child, the gut will start to heal and yeast and other issues will lessen. After you get all the metals out ~ (100-300 rounds) the gut will be healed and your child will be able to eat any foods like any other kid. Waiting for the gut to heal first is DAN doctor mumbo jumbo and makes no sense at all. Guest guest
Depending on what your child is taking for antibiotics he may be allergic- my son is allergic to ALL MOLDS! It causes asthma symptoms and lots of coughing but not getting the lungs clear. For us my son started having symptoms which we later found out were due to aspergillus niger growing in our bathroom behind the shower wall, then he was prescribed antibiotics for " bronchitis " and ended up in critical condition due to penicilin allergies as well as the aspergillus allergy that started the whole ordeal. Mainstream Dr's are so busy and think they know it all that they didn't bother to test for a simple allergy before deciding my son had bronchitis and worsening his condition. The emergency Dr seemed to know what was wrong within minutes of hearing about how we just moved him from the room by the living room to the room by the bathroom a week before symptoms got worse then being prescribed antibiotics that he had never had before, so it was something that could have been fixed quickly if we the parents were listened to in the first place. Guest guest
And children with intestinal yeast also have a greater sensitivity to mold in the environment, often compounded by the heavy metals in their systems. Guest guest
I don't have the answers. I'll pray for you. Others will help you find the way. I'll share my son, daughter, & I are allergic to penicillin. My son got a rash, ears swelled up from it. We're trying to recover from mold. We got sick so many times. Had bronchitis too. Dyflucan dried every bit of my congestion up, but had a reaction. Maybe it worked too well. Someone shared about the book Mold Warriors. Worth reading to re-mediate the house & heal. There might be something to the protocol as pygnogenol lowers cholesterol & helps the lungs. http://www.ridgecrestherbals.com makes Clear Lung but don't know if makes a liquid. It works. Be careful though, licorice root can raise blood pressure if taken more than 7 days.
