Dear a- If you want some decent rest I would say to try oxazepam which is a generic of ativan. It is a tranquilizer but works great as a sleeping aid and muscle relaxant. Just a small dose to start. It comes in other forms, epam, lorazepam. I take 25 mg trazadone with a 30mg oxazepam and a nibble of soma and I am sleeping like a baby. ZZZZZZZZZZ. My insurance wont cover Soma anymore so I am going through an online. Sorry about your baby dog. My pooch prayers are with you. Yours, Deborah
