Guest guest
> Anybody has any advice on arthritus pain, don't want any RX, just want to try natural ones, its just started recently, I don't do chelation on my self, don't eat any meats, take vitamins, and pretty healthy One of my kids had a " just started recently " arthritis condition. This happened twice. The first time, it was caused by vitamin A toxicity. Removing the vitamin A eliminated the problem. The second time, it was caused by too much carnitine. Guest guest
My mother has arthritis and even her main street doctor have recommended acupuncture. She won't even try it because she'd have to pay cash, insurance won't cover. I'll pay cash. If in enough pain, I'd pay for anything. Guest guest
I have horrible arthritis, however, I've been taking lately a liquid supplement with glucosamine (you can buy it anywhere) and am nearly pain-free! It tastes awful (to me), but it's given me the most noticeable improvement of any supplement I've ever taken. My sister, and my friend's husband have had the same good experience with it that I have. > > My mother has arthritis and even her main street doctor have recommended acupuncture. Guest guest
You can read the book Dangerous Grains...it has all sorts of great info on gluten intolerance and arthritis. My arthritis greatly improves with the elimination of gluten. I decided to try it after the Orthopedic Dr. tried to put me on medication for arthritis. When I told him that I had heard the meds were bad for the liver, he told me " Oh, don't worry, I'll test your liver every 6 months " OY! Thanks but NO thanks! Hope you get as much out of the book as I did!...Good luck! Guest guest
For me, avoiding condiments (esp. mayo/dressing) made a huge difference. most " combined " spices, natural flavors, etc - pretty much the diets recommended for the kids on this board, plus avoiding thingsd like carrageenan, guar gums, thickeners. Adding more (sea) salt helped too. zinc cream/coconut oil rubs are also very helpful, when cannot avoid the foods...look at foods lists, often an intolerance unnoticed, but related to other foods that were " bigger " intolerances...bigger bang for buck foods for me - avocadoes & blueberries, when added to diet :b elizabeth > > Anybody has any advice on arthritus pain, don't want any RX, just want to try natural ones, its just started recently, I don't do chelation on my self, don't eat any meats, take vitamins, and pretty healthy > Thanks > Natalia >
Guest guest
Maritime pine bark extract - under the name Pycnogenol - has great affects for arthritis, pain, add, and much more. We get this one. http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Pine-Bark-Extract-95-OPC You can google it and see what you find. I do 1mg per bodyweight pound. So, I take 2 if I am in a lot of pain and it helps. I prefer not to take NSAIDS and other medications.
