Guest guest
Dear a- I use compression edema gloves which help. I also wear wrist braces and self adhering support bandages that come off the roll that can be custom fit. They have a kind of tacky texture that will support your fingers and hands. I just cut them to fit each finger. I believe that support and compression are beneficial whenever your joints are weak. If you feel your knees might give out, buy the knee sleeve with a hole for your kneecap. It will stablize your leg. Use whatever assistive devices you need to. The compression gloves can be found at www.wisdomking.com and are not the same as the knitting support ones. I cant tell you how many divits I have put in the floor trying to reach for a big can of something on the top shelf. My boyfriend does understand but he cant be there all the time. Anyway, nurture yourself and cut yourself mountains of slack. I got to sleep at 8 am yesterday and slept until 6:30pm and guess what. I dont care. I get up when I get up and go to sleep when I can. You have earned the right to let life conform to you now, not you to it. Peace and Less Pain today for you, Deborah
