I would like to add that they are under the skin, I think they may be lymph

nodes.

concerned, some input would be great.

I am betting these are swollen glands, fatty tissue or something benign. I've

had things like this appear/disappear before. Since this is an area where

friction can occur (especially if you exercise or are overweight) there can be

irritation.

Is this the area where your underwear leg hole elastic hits?

Your regular internist should be fine. All groin lumps should get checked out,

but don't get too freaked out while you wait for the appointment.

Sounds like swollen glands (especially if they are in the same place on each

side of the groin). A gp once told me that these can be triggered by anything

from a cut or sore on the lower torso or legs to an internal infection. I guess

similar to swollen glands in the neck from a head cold or sore throat.

By groin, do you mean at the top of legs or in the private area.

For a girl, in the private area, could be bartholin cysts.(GYN dr) On the top

part of legs near the private area, it is probably cellulitis and you would see

a gen practitioner.
