Guest guest
Hi all, 7 -10 days ago i had an aggressive young boy that was shouting, hitting himself, not co-operating and very much out of it. I did a 2 x Oxy Powder for 2 days, with the start of HBOT after a break of 7 days[ hospital s request to stop for a few days ] intruduction of fenistil and the MB12 drops or nasal spray/ drops. ALL IN ONE DAY as a result he is calmer not completely free from the rages but reduced by 80%, more eye contact, improvement in speech[ may be from the HBOT] much much less head hitting.... I am happy he has calmed down,,,, i am lucky, he seems happier and wanting to do things he hadnt done before. thanks alot. kind regards Chriso [cyprus]
Guest guest
Hi Chriso - that is absolutely amazing, really pleased for you! The more I hear about HBOT the more I want to go for it with Jack but will have to try for funding as biomed is making a huge dent in my finances! Great news though and very encouraging. Guest guest
The Fenistil is a strong anti-inflammatory. I used to get that in Germany from my doctor for cold and flu symptoms. Guest guest
Fantastic, I would say his bowel is moving better so please keep him on a maintenance dose of oxypowder. We should do HBOT again too, we really found good on it too. Well done Chriso so glad things are better for you. Guest guest
Hi Sharon Would he take fruit puree? doesnt swallow capsules. We have ditched Movicol and use 2 oxy morning and evening when she has her probios in some water. She also gets her bowel meds on fruit puree with melatonin so if he would take fruit puree I would try this. Way back when Becks was a young un, we used to put things in a syringe and squirt very close to the side of her cheek, if cradled in my arms, its very difficult for a child to spit stuff out like that and lets face it they need to swallow stuff at times like calpol or painkillers if thats your thing to give them!! (Joke!) Its got to be done as the Great Jacquelyn McCandless once said!!. Good Luck Caroline xx > > > > > > > > > > Hi all, 7 -10 days ago i had an aggressive young boy that was shouting, hitting himself, not co-operating and very much out of it. > > I did a 2 x Oxy Powder for 2 days, with the start of HBOT after a break of 7 days[ hospital s request to stop for a few days ] intruduction of fenistil and the MB12 drops or nasal spray/ drops. Guest guest
Hi 1) Lately i found that my son has become more and more 'rebellious' and is capable of 'retaliating'. He is 3yo and has a NT twin sister. The sister likes to 'bully' him, i.e take away his toys or whatever when she sees him playing with it. previously he would just let it go without much fight (very short attention span I guess?)and moved on. Now, he started to grab his things back. Wouldn't let it go without a fight. He does not hit his sister coz he is not the aggressive type. For a while i thought this is good improvement because he finally discovered has a will and mind of his own rather than being programmed by ABA to behave in a 'fixed' and what I called the 'robotic' way. What do you think parent? 2) However, recently his obsessiveness has increased. He is very obsessed with doing things in the right sequence. It has to start from step 1. If I start him at step 3, he would go back to start from step 1. Is this type of OCD? If so, I guess i need to get this clostridia and strep controlled again. Currently i am giving him 3 caps of culturelle at night and 8-10 drops of ooo through out the day. i have goldenseal which I normally give him for about 7-10 days only as per the recommenation on the bottle. Guest guest
I think #1 is a good thing to see. We went through the exact same phase at about age 3-4 yrs. The awareness he showed and the desire to exert some control over others in his environment was very 'normal' of him! The first time he took a toy back from another child I silently cheered (didn't know the other parent!). I'll leave #2 to others with more experience. Guest guest
This is my daughter--she gets stuck in time and wants to start at step one even if everyone is at step 10 and will meltdown if you do not go back to step one----- ________________________________ From: danasview <danasview@...> Sent: Tue, October 26, 2010 4:50:03 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Improvement or Not? Strep can cause OCD, but at my house, OCD was caused by yeast, viruses, and deficiency of B12 and folic acid. > Your view here on my antibacterial approach? I used OLE to eliminate strep and other bacteria. Dana
