Hi Everyone:

I just started my 7 yr old ASD son on his 2nd round of DMSA....The first

round, I learned a lot...the second round, I am using mag citrate but am

unsure what supps are better to leave til after the DMSA days are over

(3).....

I gave him extra zinc but didn't give Vit C....

Thanks,

ANN

We keep the supps pretty much the same on and off round(increase the yeast supps

as needed). He doesnt get a full dose of Vit C (only 500 mg vice 1000 mg that

is recommended ) due to his oxalate issues. I try to get him the Vit C through

his food. He also doesnt get glutathione while on round, but thats it.

Use exactly the same supplements on chelation days and on nonchelation days.

It is very helpful to use vitamin C during chelation and I strongly suggest

doing so, several times a day.

Do not chelate without giving antioxidants, like Vit C and E. The reset of it is

to make your child more comfortable.

Antioxidants are not optional. Chelation causes oxidative stress.
