That might not work for " obedience " (of obedience training?) or to keep a job or whatever, of authority? .. . (vs./over Reason?!. (Reason " wins " if *I'm* a testament to anything? I Feel as Understand.. . I would recommend as much for Us.. . For books, (I have thousands, that I intend to read, as I now intend to read.. ..) after reading the covers and perusing the table of contents and superficially flipping through it somewhat, of a cursory read? (where endorsements count for something, valuable endorsements) maybe the first thirty pages or so, if it doesn't captivate my attention by then (of that second sort of reading?) I'll toss it (anything?) until I feel like giving it another try (where endorsements might add another ten pages on as much.. . On adding to what Mortimer J. Adler has given us, in, How To Read A Book? would be my sense of that, borrowing what I have from ABA, perhaps. Best wishes, Thereof, on how to read anything?!.
