Guest guest
Just a warning about Enhansa - it is very high phenol, can indeed be very helpful but also in some very harmful, or at least harmful/problematic after a while of positive use in our experience. We used it with our son during the stall, to work on viral issues. We slowly titrated up and saw some benefits - nothing earth shattering, but overall improved behavior although no glaring jumps in cognition or language. Then inadvertently we raised the dose up a lot, when the wrong measuring spoon was sent to us with the Enhansa powder. It caused lots of aggression and hyperactivity and ocd with our son, even with plenty of no phenol enzymes. It did seem to help his gut a lot - now with the reading I have done on the whole biofilm thing - well what came out of my boy's bowels after use of this stuff, it was like slime, close encounters of the worst kind. Even when we realized our mistake and lowered the dose way down, he still experienced more negatives than positives, so we had to stop. I think Andy says in those with high cysteine (sp?) curcumin is no good. May have been the case for my son. I will say after the Enhansa episode, his gut improved markedly, and yeast shortly thereafter ceased to be as much of a problem. The stall ended as well, but we don't know if this was just coincidence - as the time period described by Andy had elapsed as well. Just wanted to mention this as a caution in case overwhelming negatives are seen. Some things can be attributed to " die off " but not all. Guest guest
I have used Amla instead, not exactly the same, but good also. Some can't handle it but my son has phenol reactions and doesn't react to Amla. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Joyce, > > > > > > > > > > we had a very similar experience.
