Thanks Liz. I called megafoods and they said they didn't know the amount of

lipoic acid in the capsules. The main reason I want to be extra cautious is

because I am pregnant and prefer to not pull any metals at all.. but I know

lipoic acid is also in some foods.

I love food-based vitamins, this brand in particular, and my personal

opinion is that naturally occuring lipoic acid in food would be in such

small amounts that it would not chelate enough to require taking it on a

timed schedule. Make sure you are getting enough magnesium too. Deep

breathing exercises would also be very good for you.
