Guest guest
I have been reading a lot of posts since I joined the group 3 weeks ago, and I have decided to switch to AC protocol. My question for the group is what is the right dose to continue on the fifth round after the previous doses were 100mg 3xday every 8 hours for 3 days and then 14 days off. My son is 107lb, 10 year old, and it seemed he was able to tolerate it, at least that's what I think, but I am not sure. Also, I did not notice any improvement, just more self stimulating and some tics which he never had before. Thank you you for your help! Guest guest
Appropriate DMSA dose for his weight is 25-50 mg every 4 hours for 3 days. I would start with 25 mg and slowly increase. You can do 3/4 or 3/11 cycles based on his tolerance and your comfort level. Self stim can happen for 2 reasons: Yeast or Too big a dose Try to address yeast by eliminating/reducing sugars, refined carbs and also with anti-fungals and probiotics. At my house, many stims and most tics were caused by yeast overgrowth, so be sure you have a good yeast protocol in place. Dana

Guest guest
AC protocol = Cutler (chelation) protocol. It's the chelation protocol people in this group mostly use. Read the " -New Users Welcome File.doc " in the Files section of this group ( /files/) and the Answers to Frequently Asked Questions: http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/cBt0S3sA_AtX04EiT3eYB42c_OPdQdfkhVXLggcBdKZCfrWxe36\ 49-QgXZNnX3DTEBnzGDXQOk8HHI678b4xKw0hmw-ABwWYdQzg/Mercury-Autism%20FAQ Re: [ ] Re: Switching from DAN chelation protocol to AC protocol > HI, can you expalin what is AC protocol please ? > Soumia >
