Guest guest
No, particularly not acidic things like tomato products. S S Aluminum as storage Posted by: " April " april243@... april243@... Tue Apr 6, 2010 6:36 pm (PDT) I've stopped cooking with aluminum but occasionally I still use it to store left overs. Is that o.k.?
Guest guest
I would not. I have found canning jars very useful for that or just glass bowls. I squish some wax paper over the glass bowl with food in it sometimes, that's the extent of my storage. Canning jars can also be used for drinking glasses, storage for soups for school, juices for school, etc. many uses, of course and canning! > > I've stopped cooking with aluminum but occasionally I still use it to store left overs. Guest guest
I'll switch to glass. Thanks all. http://aydansrecovery.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html From: Pamela H <phaselow@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Aluminum as storage Date: Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 6:50 PM  Don't store acidic/salty foods in aluminum, limit the amount of storage time and you should be OK. Personally, I would switch to glass. > > I've stopped cooking with aluminum but occasionally I still use it to store left overs.
