Guest guest
What chelation protocol are you following? What dosage? What lab test are you refering to? The stools you are describing sound like yeast. TJ ________________________________ From: " breathofheaven@... Her stools look just like they did when we started (diarrhea-orange tinted, smooshy/fluffy). She has also been chelating mercury, lead and others for a year and a half. The last 2 tests showed the level of mercury and lead coming down-so assuming we are getting closer to getting the mercury and lead out. I have thought that the reason her stools have not improved by being on such a restrictive diet is because of the metals. But now that the tests are coming back as having lower amounts, shouldn't her stools be improving? What could be other reasons for her stools not improving? Thank you, Margaret
Guest guest
I haven't been on the board in a while so maybe this has already been discussed but we recently started drinking aloe vera juice and have seen great improvements with stools. We usually have fluffy floating stools in this house and have been seeing very normal ones for a couple weeks now. It's supposed to be helpful for gut healing and for yeast among other things. We've been chelating for a year along with a GFCF diet. Kes > > What chelation protocol are you following? Guest guest
Has she had IgG testing done? The SCD is good for some people. My daughter had disgusting ploppy soft, fluffy stools most of the time. However, SCD is out as she does not tolerate almonds, eggs, or any dairy. I would suspect that something common in the SCD is not tolerated. Digestive enzymes seem to be helping my daughter. As far as the metals, it's nice to see levels decreasing! > > My daughter has been on the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) for 2 years now. Her stools look just like they did when we started (diarrhea-orange tinted, smooshy/fluffy). For the orange tint, consider carotene conversion issues. My son required zinc, vitamin C, selenium, iodine, and tyrosine to correct his carotene conversion problem [the last three to correct hypothyroid]. Fluffy meant yeast here.
