Re: Does oral chelation exacerbate yeast?

Hi Emerson,

I'm not sure if this will help. I'm on my 5th round of chelation with dmsa and

I do believe that it causes yeast to get worst. I can feel the leaky gut issues

more often again and it seems like I have to be more strict with anti-fungals.

Regarding the glutathione question, I'm sorry, but I can't answer that question

as I don't know the answer. Does anyone else know?

Tony

Subject: [ ] Does oral chelation exacerbate yeast?

Hi all,

I was told by another family that oral chelation can cause a yeast problem to

get worse. This family uses suppositories. ..don't know what protocol they are

following. I also was told to make sure that my daughter's glutathione level was

sufficient or else the chelating agents would not bind. Anyone know anything

about this?

Thanks,

Emerson

Any kind of chelation exacerbates yeast. Many on this group do oral chelation

and control yeast with minimal issues. In my experience, I have found that

intolerated foods cause much more yeast than chelation does. A good rule of

thumb is to take enzymes with meals, probiotics after meals and before bed.

Also if you do a yeast cleanse, give activated charcoal afterward and a hot

bath. That works real well for my family.

Yes, because metals moving thru the body tends to increase yeast.

I used oral ALA. It greatly increased yeast until about round 50, then most of

the yeast problem was gone.

I should add that an insufficient yeast protocol and significant yeast

overgrowth also causes one to be intolerant to a lot of foods!

ANY chelation causes yeast issues. Doesn't matter how you get the chelator into

the blood stream.

The metals that are pulled from the brain and other organs enter the gut and

kill the good bacteria, allowing yeast to overgrow.

You need to have a good yeast fighting regimen on board while you chelate.

After you chelate for a while the yeast issues will lessen.

Moving mercury increases yeast, regardless of chelation route.

Thanks to everyone for the info! So, what is a good yeast protocol? Is that

somewhere in the files? My daughter is taking probiotics and Fluconazole. Her

belly is definitely not as bloated as before, although she does still lick

things at times and almost always has to have something in her mouth, whether

it's her fingers or pacifier. I really want to start chelation, but I want to

start it the right way. I know there is some prep work before starting, right?

Thanks,

Emerson
