Guest guest
What other outlets does he have for the need to jump or constantly move? A mini trampoline with a handlebar for jumping? Kids move... and they get hurt... Perhaps GSE isn't doing its job. Do you have probiotics? Guest guest
He has a trampoline, but he doesn't want it inside at the moment. He is lining toys up all over his bedroom floor and I don't want to interrupt whatever he is going through right now. He stopped touching his toys when he was about 3 or 4 and this is better then nothing. He is taking vl3 probiotics at night-he is up to two capsules right now. Guest guest
He just took 600mg gse about an hour ago and he is still jumping! Dana when you say as much as he can tolerate, what do you mean? Will he throe up? How do know if he can't tolerate it? Also he takes Biotin with his B complex 2x a day. Is that enough? Guest guest
Peripheral neuropathy. When this happened to my son, Andy said to increase EFAs and I think he said magnesium too (can't remember if he said magnesium, but I know EFA's for sure) Liz > > He always jumps on his bead while stimming verbally and tonight he missed a step and landed on his knew. > > Lucky he didn't break anything, but it really hurt him. Guest guest
I do not think GSE and biotin are appropriate in this situation, I think you have to decrease phenols (which GSE may be one) and get him on a bland diet, adding in the extra magnesium and EFAs like I said in my other post. My boy acts the same sometimes. When the metals are coming out, it is very hard on their nervous system. > > > Lucky he didn't break anything, but it really hurt him. Guest guest
> He just took 600mg gse about an hour ago and he is still jumping! It may be addressing the yeast but he may have phenol issues. GSE is high phenol. Try giving it with No-Fenol enzyme. http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm > Dana when you say as much as he can tolerate, what do you mean? Will he > throe up? How do know if he can't tolerate it? My son would throw up, have terrible diarrhea, or develop a nasty headache when there was too much GSE. > Also he takes Biotin with his B complex 2x a day. Is that enough? Generally, the amount of biotin in a multi is negligible. What is the dose? If it is not at least 1000mcg, it is negligible. Dana

Guest guest
Came in late on this. So sorry for Mickie. I'm sitting on the sidelines on this one because my son also took a fall a couple of nights ago...hanging off of his punching bag and spinning. (also obvious yeast issues) Got a lump on the back of his head and now has sore neck and shoulders. Not in a financially sound place to go to chiropractor... Zurama. Wishing you the best and learning with you. Guest guest
We've been there, too. Just when we were getting started, our son had a melt down over at the neighbors. I put him in the car, turned to say bye to the neighbor, and my son took a dive out the door of the truck. He bumped his head and broke his thumb! Not long after that he was bouncing on the couch, slid off, and barely bumped his leg on the coffee table, but he couldn't weight bear for over two months! They couldn't find a break, but thought maybe a hair-line fracture, so they cast him, and six weeks later, he still would not weight bear. No one had an explanation, and then finally, he started walking again. I know the tantrums were due to yeast and nutritional problems. Going gf/cf/sf helped tremendously along with addressing the yeast issues. He hasn't been spinning, bouncing, or running down the hall throwing himself up against the end in years now. Guest guest
I'm so sorry about your son. What I did was bring in his trampoline. It takes a lot of space in his room, but he didn't mind at all and there was still space for his musical toys, which he has strategically placed on the floor, so he is doing most of his jumping on the trampoline now. I don't think the GSE has anything to do with it. He was jumping years before I introduced it and it has done wonders for his GI. He is on Omegas, enzymes, amino acids, etc This is the list of his supplements I had sent to the list per Andy's request, but I think it got lost Dmsa, ALA Digestive Enzymes Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc B complex MSM (Sulfur) with vit c Amino Acids Thyroid support (which contains potassium and a tiny amount of copper) Just got it in the mail. Raw Thyroid (He takes these two for Hypothyroidism) Grape Seen Extract OLE Vl#3 Vimpocetine Omega 3-6-9 Vitamin E Milk Thistle Folic Acid Carnosine Carnitine Glutamine Taurine Lithium (not rx) Super Nu-Thera from Kirkmans in case I missed anything. He was on L-Glutathione free form 50mg in the spring and summer of 2008!!! He was Methyl be 12 shots and Nasal spray for a few months in 07 and a few months in 08. Could this have hurt him or caused permanent damage??? He used to also take Beta Glucan, Resveratrol, Germanium and Pygnosenol, DGL Licorice, Dandelion root, Choline & Inositol, spirulina, Ox Bile and Transfer Factor. Were these a good or bad idea and should I get him back on any of them? He has malabsorption, and Hypothyroidism, no upper body muscle tone and though 13 looks about 8. Lately, in the last three months since restarting chelation and adding more supplements, his skin looks better and the yellow tint it used to have is gone. His palms and ears look pinkish again.
