This is fine. If they are coming down sick it's better to stop the round and

wait until they are better and begin again.

chelation for our 9 y/o son on Friday. He is 9 y/o, 65 lbs and taking 12.5 DMSA.

Saturday evening he came home with a cough and congestion (he has history of

asthma). He told me he felt really crummy (no fever though). I decided to

discontinue the rest of the round. I am hoping that is the right thing to do &

would appreciate advice on this. Thanks!!

A little bit of a cold it's OK to continue. If they are feeling really bad, sure

stop, you have to use your judgment. A fever over about 101-102 you want to stop

as well. It's really your call, you have to go by how the child is feeling. Make

sure you are giving lot of antioxidants.

Ok...maybe I should've continued..darn! He only missed the midnight, 3am and 6am

doses. Almost made it thru the 1st round. All else went well. Very excited to

have made the leap & finally chelating!! Hoping for decreased food sensitivites

and behavior issues! I'm sure we'll have more questions. thanks for the help!
