Guest guest
The acronym GSE, when used regarding anti-fungals/anti-microbials, refers to grapeFRUIT seed extract, not GRAPE seed extract. Both are sold as supplements. Grapes are VERY high in phenols. Grapefruit is MODERATELY high in phenols. Apples are low to moderately high in phenols. So, which one is it you are giving? GSE or grape seed extract? nikkibarbieri wrote: > > Hi all, > > I just purchased a bottle of GSE to rotate amongst my son's anti yeast > supplements. He started giggling soon after having a capsule(also had > apple=high in phenols). > > Is GSE really high in phenols? > > Also for those with children that get the hysterical laughing just a > word of advice.I overlooked this for many years and now I truly > believe he has a problem with phenols.Don't wait as long as I did to > try to lower phenols in diet.He was doing really good for the last 1 > 1/2 since we cut way back until tonight.I always thought it had to be > yeast even when tests showed no yeast due to so many anti yeast supps. > > Just thought I would put that out there for those parents who haven't > investigated this...jake's mom > >

Guest guest
I know I have said this before- Grapefruit seed extract should be GFSE and then Grape seed extract is GSE. Guest guest
too practical. > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > I just purchased a bottle of GSE to rotate amongst my son's anti yeast > > > supplements. He started giggling soon after having a capsule(also had > > > apple=high in phenols). > > > > > > Is GSE really high in phenols? > > > > > > Also for those with children that get the hysterical laughing just a > > > word of advice.I overlooked this for many years and now I truly > > > believe he has a problem with phenols.Don't wait as long as I did to > > > try to lower phenols in diet.He was doing really good for the last 1 > > > 1/2 since we cut way back until tonight.I always thought it had to be > > > yeast even when tests showed no yeast due to so many anti yeast supps. > > > > > > Just thought I would put that out there for those parents who haven't > > > investigated this...jake's mom > > > > > > > > >

But legally and therefore practically, not. The only allowable legal use of the acronym GSE in supplements is Grapefruit Seed Extract. " GSE " is a Registered Trademark of Nutrition Resource, Inc. for an " antiseptic, namely an antimicrobial and antifungal topical liquid or powder for use on human skin and as sanitizing agent. " Which means GSE actually only refers to a certain preparation of Grapefruit Seed Extract. And therefore Grape Seed Extract is only referred to by manufacturers as Grape Seed Extract, or Grape Seed, in supplements sold anywhere. > SHannon > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > I just purchased a bottle of GSE to rotate amongst my son's anti > yeast > > > supplements.
Guest guest
Nikki, Grape seed extract is _NOT_ an anti-fungal (which is the technical term for an " anti-yeast " ). Try liquid GSE, a form of grapefruit seed extract: http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=NQ-2001 Also note that quick rotating of anti-fungals is the best way to produce resistant strains. Please don't do this. http://onibasu.com/archives/am/171044.html nikkibarbieri wrote: > > > Grape seed extract. > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > > > I just purchased a bottle of GSE to rotate amongst my son's anti > yeast > > > supplements.
Guest guest
> I know I have said this before- Grapefruit seed extract should be GFSE and then Grape seed extract is GSE. The bottle of Grapefruit Seed Extract has GSE in big letters on the front of the bottle. So if everyone called it GFSE here, you might go to your local health food store, or online, and not know that you were looking at the product you wanted. Guest guest
just saying, our family has had huge gains while using gse and gfse together, three or four times a day. They both kill bartonella, which is a major bacterial infection involved in lyme disease. The gains from that was one of the clues that lead us to look at lyme. So, and in conclusion I feel that gse and gfse both kill possibly different similar strains of bacteria and the changes we see in our family from it's use from both are dramatic if not miraculous. Guest guest
Well, since I'm not trying to sell anything I'm not too worried about anybody coming to haul me off to jail for trademark infringement And as well, most things like that are trademarked with a specific font, look, etc...ANd I certainly don't want to confuse anyone over it anymore than they generally are right now. ALmost every thread about it that I have read has people asking " which are you talking about? Grapefruit or Grape seed " - so I figured that would be the easiest especially for newbies so people aren't using the wrong thing for the wrong symptom. I was quite confused reading the threads about what did what and what was helpful or not for different symptoms especially if the symptom was not an obvious thing like yeast- we are all unconventional pioneers here But you know whatever works for everybody > > I know I have said this before- Grapefruit seed extract should be GFSE and then Grape seed extract is GSE. > > > The bottle of Grapefruit Seed Extract has GSE in big letters on the front of the bottle.
