Guest guest
My daughter has been on the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) for 2 years now. Her stools look just like they did when we started (diarrhea-orange tinted, smooshy/fluffy). She has also been chelating mercury, lead and others for a year and a half. The last 2 tests showed the level of mercury and lead coming down-so assuming we are getting closer to getting the mercury and lead out. I have thought that the reason her stools have not improved by being on such a restrictive diet is because of the metals. But now that the tests are coming back as having lower amounts, shouldn't her stools be improving? What could be other reasons for her stools not improving? Thank you, Margaret
