Remember teacher Portillo who had her kindergarten class vote a fellow

student out of class? The fact that the student had Asperger's didn't seem to

matter to her. Now it seems Portillo continued to teach and then harassed a

young girl with a hearing impairment. Her suspension and legal fees were all

paid for by the school district..

The county superentendent of schools wanted her out, but the teacher's union

said she had tenure and she had to stay.

And Barton, the kindergarten student who was voted out of class " survivor "

style? He is on the Honor Roll in his new school.
