Guest guest
Hi. I have just posted a DDI Hair Elements test result in the files titled " DDI Hair Test - OMcC.pdf " for my 4 year-old son (note that report incorrectly states he is 10). I'd be grateful for any assistance in interpretation. Many thanks,
Guest guest
It desn't look to meet any of the counting rules. 2nd opinions welcome. Guest guest
Hi As TJ said the counting rules are not met. However, Mercury in the yellow maybe significant and with antimony high and others such as tin highish which can sometimes also point to mercury toxicity a trial of 5-10 rounds of AC chelation might be worth a go providing that there is no ongoing exposure. This test does suggest some adrenal stress and possible thyroid problems along with a fast metabolism for which digestive enzymes might help. Kenny > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi again It would also be worth getting back to Doctors data and getting them to send you a test result with the appropriate age ref. range (This should not cost as it is their mistake) as this may affect the results. Sorry for not stating this in my earlier post. This would not affect the ratios though. Kenny > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi Kenny and TJ Thanks for taking the time to look at the report and for your interpretation and advice. I did go back to DDI and they updated the report free of charge. I have posted it in the files - DDI Hair Test - OMcC (4yr).pdf - no impact on the counting rules but changes in reference ranges have had an impact on Magnesium (result is now higher in the range) and Molybdenum (lower end). Would you have anything further to add? Thanks > > > > > > Hi.
