Guest guest
What can cause an appearance of dark circles under the eyes in a 4 year old? He's on supplements (many), we're at the very beginning of chelation (4 rounds)... For whatever reason I'm thinking adrenal fatigue? He has mentioned on several occasions (this is pretty recent as well as circles) to us that he's tired. And this is a 4 year old energizer bunny... Thank you
Guest guest
Could be oxidative stress. Are you giving enough C and E? Also can be due to the chelation dose being too high. This is pretty common in the begining when you start chelation. A few thing will need to be tweaked so that your child is comfortable. Give lots of C for starters. Guest guest
Madhuri, I have not but I have it~ (Gosh, I probably have a mini store in my kitchen cabinets!)... Perhaps I can try it? I guess if it is NOT the case, we just won't see a difference, true? They told me again yesterday (at daycare) that he asked to take his nap at around 11 am! They couldn't allow him to do that then but when it was time - he slept for 2 hours (from 1 pm to 3 pm)... We have tested him several times for gluten sensitivity and it came back negative... We never tried the elimination diet though... I can tell you that he eats apple sauce twice a day and bananas ... probably twice a day! Thanks ________________________________ From: anumandm <anumandm@...> Sent: Wed, March 31, 2010 4:40:15 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Dark circles under eyes For my son, it is usually phenol overload and/or food intolerances( particularly wheat). Have you tried the no-phenol enzyme? Madhuri > > What can cause an appearance of dark circles under the eyes in a 4 year old? Guest guest
Hmmm... good question, TJ. I am not sure... He's 40 lbs and for the last 2 rounds we used only 2.5 mg of ALA... so I think it is a pretty small dose... And we even skipped last weekend (since he wasn't feeling great, his little sister was sick, etc)... So I am leaning more towards it being a phenol issue (like others have mentioned)... I guess it would explain his inability to tolerate GSE... and even Enhansa (somebody suggested). But I will certainly give him more C and E (he gets them every day but I can up the dose) and see what we see... I might also try him on No Phenol... Thank you for your ideas ________________________________ From: TJWerth <tj_werth@...> Sent: Wed, March 31, 2010 2:37:55 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Dark circles under eyes Could be oxidative stress. Guest guest
My daughter gets dark circles under her eyes after a chelation round. I believe it is do to low minerals that had been pulled during chelation. We just up the mineral support. Guest guest
with my son it is usually one of several things 1) tired 2) die off of yeast 3) sinus / allergy /type thing 4) food allergy > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What can cause an appearance of dark circles under the eyes in a 4 year old? Guest guest
These are all good suggestions. However, I would add in liver distress. When we first chelated my son would get these dark circles by the end of each round. After I upped his liver support (milk thistle usually) the dark circles abated. Guest guest
Try adding Liver Life to support the liver. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What can cause an appearance of dark circles under the eyes in a 4 year old?
