I had this happen today with my son (7yr.old). I think it was partly a food

reaction and partly low blood sugar from not eating often enough. It is hard to

know, but I am quite sure mine's meltdown had something to do with those two

things.

My son did this too at the same age. I took him to a Naturopathic doctor who put

him on a supplement to support adrenal gland function. ASD kids can be deficient

in a hormone called cortisol. Low cortisol can result in aggression.

The good news is that is can be treated. To address the adrenal gland function

and low cortisol, we used a supplement called Drenatrophin PMG by Standard

Process. Here's the link.

Other supplements that helped calm include calcium, Magnesium plus Gaba and Min

Chex.

hi all,

my 2.5 yr old has definitely bit/scratched in the past either out of

excitement or out of frustration but lately (past week), he's been much much

more aggressive, lashing out even at his therapists which he's never done.

everyone keeps talking about it like its a really big deal and i'm

wondering if this is a reaction to something? latest thing we've added is

saccharomyces boullardi...

thanks,

leah

Certain foods and several supplements caused this at my house.

Try removing the SaccB and see if that helps.
