Guest guest
If you are in any pain, it always seems worse at night. Is your child in pain? Head, stomach? Age? Are you on digest enzymes, have you done something like Humaworm for parasites? My guy said he felt better on Humaworm, didn't think he had parasites but always a really light sleeper and would often lay awake for an hour or two before falling asleep, and not a calm sleep like my nt child. Done food allergy testing, food journal? Try eliminating all supplements and try adding one back at a time. Up the yeast protocol too? Best of luck. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Tammy [ ] Paradoxical to anything calming/ screaming! Anyone have any idea why my child has a paradoxical effect to anything that is to calm him down or help him sleep. We've tried melatonin, gaba, 5htp, valium, ativan, benadryl, rescue remedy, l-theanine...... Every thing we tried gave him he had either no effect or the opposite effect. Constant screaming anyone know why????? Kate
Guest guest
I do not know why this happens, but it was true of my son. My son required long term antibiotics for various congenital infections (lyme, bartonella, babesia, strep) before he started to respond to any other treatment. He was in pain and could not sleep and would cry and scream all night long. Guest guest
Melatonin and gaba give my child heartburn. It is very bad and he goes into a rage, which is the opposite of calming. If Zantac clears his problem in 10 minutes, then I know it was heartburn and I don't give that particular supplement or food again. I have to use more than one Zantac and I also give a lot of Gas-X with it. ALA 25mg every 3 hrs around the clock, every other weekend, has lessened this problem in intensity. It's not gone yet, and it's still our largest issue. He used to take Rx acid reflux meds but in the past 3 months since we started doing ALA the right way, I've been able to remove those prescriptions and just use Zantac as needed, whereas before Zantac did not control the problem. Maybe your child has heartburn- which usually gets worse at night. Deb > > Anyone have any idea why my child has a paradoxical effect to anything that is > to calm him down or help him sleep.
