for us we need dmsa to avoid headaches on rounds but you can try increasing his

vitamin C to see if that helps at all.

Also you didn't list any other supplements. Is he on the supplements for

chelation listed by Andy? Often times we need a lot of antioxidants and other

things to tolerate the chelation without side effects.

For migraine here we need extra B vits, extra C, and a lot more mag.

At my house, yeast caused major migraines. Try increasing the yeast protocol,

see if that helps.

Hi and all,

How do you treat the acute headache--what is best to give children " in the

moment " to help a headache? I used to give children's ibuprofen (*gasp*), but

want to avoid it.

I am asking preemptively b/c my dd tends to get headaches now (before beginning

chelation). She's taking zinc, biotin, vit. C, mag glycinate (pm), taurine,

glycine, vit. E, neuroscience kavinace & norlox. She is highly affected by

chemicals (gets a headache immediately when we walk into a store w/a lot of

chemical smells like Wal*Mart). She's also GFCFSFCF.

I wonder how she is going to do on round....

In the moment, I use homeopathy, lavender EO, ice packs, and stimulate

acupressure and refloxology points, as well as extra magnesium, B's and C's

ASAP.

Luckily the 3 migraines have all bee around bedtime. So I give him and ice

pack, melatonin and hope he falls asleep quickly. So far he has each time.

I have migraines and know how bad they are.

Even for mine, it seems Epsom salt baths help. My kids get an Epsom salt

bath each night.

On another note. I have heard ala lowers blood sugar and migraines are a

symptom of a thyroid problem.

I KNOW my son was dehydrated last night, but in general he need sto eat

more, and I need more adrenal support for him.

At my house, headaches were usually caused by yeast overgrowth or too-high

minerals. Because you associate the headaches with chelation rounds, try

increasing the yeast protocol.

Taurine helped with chemical sensitivity here. Also OLE.
