Abby - if you're experiencing symptoms, I'd check with

your dr. This is why I'm still off my enbrel &

MTX...even tho I was basically asymtomatic with my

sinus infection after stopping the meds and taking

some antibiotics, it's still there, according to the

ENT guy. AND according to his nurse, the day I was

seen she'd seen at least 1 maybe 2 other people who

were also taking enbrel. AND a coworker of mine ended

up doing sinus surgery last summer because of an

infection that wouldn't clear up with

antibiotics...she was basically asymtomatic too.

I believe no one knows exactly how to handle this yet.

I'm hoping you're better by now, because I know I'm

responding late.

Well guess what? I'm on Enbrel and I've got the

symptoms of a sinus infection and I'm really

uncomfortable.

Thanks for responding. I'm not great. Still a bit stuffed and actually runny nose but not the pain on one side of my face. Of course now my mom tells me she has pneumonia but fortunately I had my pneumovax vaccine. Even with the Enbrel and prednisone I've still managed to run a low grade fever which is a bit surprising considering prednisone is generally good at masking fevers. I'm not one to overreact but I've been under a lot of stress so I keep thinking I'm having a flare from all of that.

But your post makes me think. Thanks- I will have to rethink all of this.

Abby
