This brings up an important and corollary

point.  Medications such as Ritalin are administered according to the level of

the dysfunction.  As the patient gets “better” they stand the

chance of being overdosed on the same dosage.  It’s essential that we

stay in touch with the prescribing physician, and titrate the meds as

appropriate.  I know most of us know this, but it bears repeating from time to

time.

Hi

There are thousands of people for which SSRIs like

Prozac etc. are very

helpfull. But there are some with severe

sideeffects, thats true. But there

are much more others.

For me such polemical, one-sided and short-sighted

mails have to stay out of

this list.

I think all of us are interested enough to go the

right way with a patient,

with or without SSRIs.

But doing neurofeedback in a scientific and

responsible way does not exclude

SSRIs and other drugs such as ritalin etc. I have

good experiences even by

combining the two ways.
