Guest guest
We are on round 30 of ALA chelation and having an especially bad time. 10 yo daughter is very moody, throwing tantrums like we haven't seen since starting chelation. We haven't made any changes to supplements or diet. We did miss 3 rounds of chelation due to vacation and very busy weekend schedules, but we started back 2 weeks ago without any big problems. I'm wondering about a few things: I mix ALA in juice, it is refrigerated during day but I haven't been keeping it cool at night, and it has been pretty hot here (esp since our AC is in the process of being repaired.) Does it need to be kept cool? Also, I have been mixing it with o.j. but just recently read that pineapple or lemon is better d/t acidity content. However, I have been using o.j. all along, and haven't had problems up until now. Last p.m. she was very upset that she couldn't fall asleep and had to keep getting up to urinate. Again, this has happened in the past, and she has been ruled out for urinary tract infections many times. Once she falls asleep she is fine. Sounds maybe like an adrenal issue, but I hate to add another supplement to the mix until I can figure out what has thrown her off. Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas/suggestions? We are just about at our wits end. Thanks
