We do three day on and four day off rounds. We start on Friday afternoon after

school at 4:00pm.

We do ALA and DMSA. Every three hours during the day and every four hours at

night. Our kids go to bed around 7:00-7:30.

So our schedule looks like... Friday Afternoon 4, 7, 11, 3, 7, 10, 1, 4, 7, 11,

3, 7, 10, 1, 4, 7, 11, 3, 7..Monday morning back to school.

Looks like 19 doses. This way we only need to get up once at three am if we stay

up until 11, or twice if we go to bed early.

Cell phones are good for alarm clocks on the nightstand.

Hang in there Sue.

I bought I timer at Walmart. It goes off at night so I don't have to turn on

our bedroom light on and keep changing the alarm time. Works like a charm and

so worth it. Has a magnet so can be on the refrigerator or a little stand on

the back to prop up.

Sue,

As the others have said, it's every 4 hours at night. Our night schedule is:

8pm (then stay awake until midnight)

12am (then go to sleep)

4am (this is the hard one)

8am (have to get up anyway!)

Take a weekend off if you are too tired. Take a nap during the day if you can.

Think long-term, set a goal for how many rounds you want to get in this year, be

realistic.

Best of luck,

Maggied.

We do a similar schedule and since I'm the night owl I do the late night dose,

dh is the early bird so he does early AM dose. Some weekends are harder than

others, depending on stress, work, how hard a week it's been (I have insomnia

issues to begin with). If necessary, we take turns napping during the weekend

days. It comes down to toughing it out because it's worth it. I think we're on

round 17 - not sure w/o looking at my notebook - but this last one, we totally

went about our normal weekend, with an insulated lunch bag with us to carry his

ALA mixture and oral syringe and bottle of water to wash it down. He didn't even

flinch at night during dosing. It was the easiest round we've done yet. 10

rounds ago, it wasn't this easy.
