If he is tolerating well, you could increase the dosage though. Guest guest Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 Stick within the dosage since side effects can be different with just ALA and see how it works out. If he tolerates it just fine then you can increase by no more than 1/2 the current dose. Stick within the 1/8-1/2mg per pound guideline and you will be fine. Don't increase the dose and remove the DMSA at the same time or you won't know which is causing the problems, the increased dose or not using DMSA. > > Dears, > After a year on DMSA+ ALA.
