Hi everyone,

I am new here and have been following the discussions on this cite. I just

happen to have a suggestion for drinks that may work for some people. I have

been making kombucha for my children for quite some time. This is a type of

fermentation process that allows you to turn green and black tea (mixed

together) in to a carbonated beverage that is LOADED with group B vitamins,

probiotics, antioxidants, folic acid etc. naturally. I ordered my original

culture from Kombucha America .com My 4 yr old girl has ASD and we have been

on the trail of biomedical support for over 2 years now. I attribute her

final recovery from CHRONIC never ending loose stools to this drink. I find

that because of this improvement we are now ready to start considering AC

protocol ( I was also able to get her off most of our supplements with no

ill effects) - which is why I started following this group. Both of my

children LOVE it and ask for it. In addition to water and coconut milk this

is the only drink they consume. I am even close to trying to reintroduce

casein as we have been GFCF for over 2 years. I don't try to make mine

carbonated as my kids drink it anyway. My thought is that it would be very

easy to make it just as carbonated as soda and flavor it with any fruit

juice or extract (after it is finished brewing) I think it would almost be

indistinguishable from soda and be used as a good bridge from sugary drink

land :-)
