Dr Mark Hyman is in mass, check out his book and see if it a good fit.   Book

= " Ultra mind solution " by Mark Hyman.  In the book he has examples of cases

and what he did to diagnose and  treat.

Here is his website for the office

Good Luck

Are you having good results with your holistic doc?

If so, you can go and get lab work done yourself or through your PCP and have

them monitor.

You can also request a physician's packet from Dr. Megson www.megson.com in

order for your doctor to get the proper labs to run.

You can also call Great Plains Labs which has several panels available for

autism spectrum disorders and do those.

Maybe that is because he knows what he is doing.

Most of the testing I see is frivolous and unnecessary.

Sticking big needles in little kids is torture - CPS would take the kids from

you (for good reason) if you did it without doctor's orders. It shouldn't just

be done as part of the human sacrificing medical religion's rituals where

tormenting your child and charging a lot of money is seen as a substitute for

knowing how to get him better.

Tests are appropriate when there is a specific individualized reason for them

and some decision can't be made without the results. Not otherwise.

This is a great book.

We have seen a few DAN doctors in Mass. Jeanne Hubbuch in Newton is very good

in my opinion, but communication with her/her office leaves a lot to be desired.

Also does not accept insurance.

We have also seen Levitan in Wellesley. He is listed as a " functional

medicine " doctor and took our insurance. He does a lot of the same things as

DAN docs, but doesn't believe in hair testing - we did that with Dr. Hubbuch,

and then on our own. He also wanted to do a challenge test, which I declined.

Also Hardy in Hingham. Very nice but very expensive, and I felt like I was

holding the reins. It wasn't what I needed at the time.

Good luck.
