Guest guest
Yes, transdermal ALA is effective. The dosing and frequency are the same as oral. Do not mix and match during the round. You can make it at home using high quality hand lotion. We use lubriderm. Guest guest
TJ. Isn't Lubriderm full of chemicals? Would organic coconut oil be better? If not, why not? Thanks, Haven
Guest guest
We are also doing ALA trasdermal. we are on round 26 now and have seen some great progress! We use any kind of lotion really and apply usually on his back. At night, I put it wherever I can get to on his body without waking him up. > > Yes, transdermal ALA is effective. Guest guest
Is organic coconut oil like hand lotion? Andy said to use " high quality hand lotion " , so that's what we are doing. You can try the coconut oil and see if it works. Should be able to mix in the ALA and have it dissolve in the lotion, then rub it into the skin completely. Guest guest
Doesn't sound good. You need to follow the Andy Cutler protocol. Every three hours, day and night, for three days, then take four days off. Many start Friday afternoon and go to Monday morning in order to work around school. The dosage is 1/8 to 1/2 mg per pound of body weight. Start low and work your way up. Give supporting supplements. You can read about it in the files section here on the group. Guest guest
The dosing would be the same for the DMPS (1/8 to 1/2 mg per pound of body weight), but the timing would be every 6-8 hrs. We dont do TD, but do use DMPS and ALA, every 3 hrs for the ALA, every 6 for DMPS. Makes the scheduling much easier than giving the DMPS every 8 hrs. Guest guest
dmps twice a day? It should be dosed every eight hours. According to it's half life. See Andy Cutler chelation file. Or New Users Welcome file for more information on proper chelation. Jan > > > > > > Yes, transdermal ALA is effective. The dosing and frequency are the same as > > > oral.
