Guest guest
Hi Folks, I'm planning to order a hair test for my daughter. How should the hair be prepped before testing -- shampoo right before? If yes ... can I shampoo a sample after it's been cut ... also, which shampoo is best to use for this purpose? I have a recent sample from my daughter that was cut before shampooing. She wears hair care products as part of daily grooming and I want to make sure we're testing her hair, not the products. Thank you, mom bee
Guest guest
I would have her wash her hair well with whatever shampoo she normally uses, dry the hair without any products and then take the sample before she puts anything on her head. I don't think the type of shampoo is critical. My kids were young and I used baby shampoo. Places like Target sell travel sized bottles of & baby shampoo if you want to buy it.
