The DMSA was given on a dangerous, harmful and inappropriate schedule and not surprisingly that caused brain damage in the rats. It can do so in children, too, for example when given every 8 hours by DAN! doctors practicing medicine without a clue. At least they reported their experimental methods well enough we could figure out what happened.
