Dear - Have the tests redone. Your body can have serum negative RA or LUPUS levels and titres. That doesnt mean the disease has stopped. It may have manifested itself or mutated into something else or is in the process of doing so. Its the symptoms you must pay attention to. If your RD is dismissive, then find an immunologist and they should be able to get to the bottom of it. You still have both, trust me, my girlfriend judy has both RA and LUPUS and though her sed rate and titres are negative, without medication she would be bedridden. She tested negative right before she got lupus and the ANA mutates and changes and then positive again. Those silly tests are a guideline only, not an absolute. Yours, Deborah
