If you buy the book and donate it, they will usually accept it. I bought

several copies of " Evidence of Harm, " and donated them to our local

library. They were glad to accept them. I enjoy going in from time to time

and pulling it up to see how many have been checked out.

As for the breast health, I agree. I think fat in general is bad for a lot

of things --especially animal fat. Cow's milk is good for cows; however, I

also think the lack of iodine in the American diet is a huge part of the

problem. I turned around my own breast health by supplementing with iodine

after finding I was very low.

Nest, though I will be weeding out the dairy and substitute healthier forms

of " milk " to eat with cereal and cook with.

Interesting article.

It seems that likely the problem is not exactly dairy itself but the hormones in

it. It sounds like maybe eating organic dairy is ok?

So do they take a calcium supplement if they don't eat or drink diary?

The China Study is another book with long term research on protein (mainly

casein) and cancer. I skimmed the original (long) post, but excuse me if that is

the book referred to!

You don't need dairy to get calcium. Where do you think the cows get it

from?

Dairy is not the only calcium source. They eat lots of green leafy veggies,

there is a lot of calcium in them.

My uncle owns a few pharmaceutical companies in new zealand. His biggest market

for formula is Asia. He makes the formula in New Zealand. I know they don't

use hormones in their animals, and they only eat grass/hay. Pretty much their

life style is what we call " organic " . When we went for a visit in like 06

their. Animals are HUGE. Compared to our hormone/steroid fed animals.

I don't know what their stats are for breast cancer. My aunt whom came from

Croatia to New Zealand had breast cancer(family history on her side). I don't

know of anyone who has roots from New Zealand. Most of my family from there has

high cholesterol/dementia issues.
