We use the AC protocol. Don't have any idea what you are doing, something

dangerous I'm sure.

Here is a link for high quality ALA:

Three day rounds it will last you at least four weeks or more and it's $16.50.

A year ago, in Vienna, this doctor suggested me to do IV once a week, for 4

hours.

He didn't say anything about the side effects though when I asked him.

I spend about 100.00 a month and that's only because he has malabsorption

and needs supplementation, but otherwise oral chelation is one of the most

inexpensive treatments I think.

Sorry to hear that. Please read up in the files section here on the group about

the Andy Cutler method of chelation. Very safe, effective, and inexpensive.

I recommend the AC protocol. I hope that we will be doing it soon. We IV

chelated our son for seven months back in 2006-2007. Ont he last two

treatments he had an asthmatic reaction! the first time the doc said it was

just a coincidence (yeah, like where have I heard that before), but the next

round it happened again. this was using DMPS/EDTA IV. So we stopped. Our

son subsequently developed an allergy to sulfa drugs and broccoli.

Then we went back this summer as our son tested high again for lead. We

chelated weekly for three weeks, then on the fourth week, again he had a

horrible asthma attack, and that was just from using EDTA.

I decided that Dr. Cutler is right, and that weekly IV chelation is very

risky. I am so glad my son came through it. We won't ever do it that way

again. I have really been studying (you can buy Dr. Cutler's book) and I

have read other books, and I think a steady stream of chelators to avoid

redistribution of metals is a safer choice, especially since the dosages are

much smaller.

Check out the autism treatment group and you can learn a lot. when my son

first regressed, they were the only autism group I could find on

they helped me enormously.

We're down to about 200.00 a month. My son also has malabsorbtion issues along

with oxalates, but chelation has allowed us to reduce alot of his supplements.

How is the cutler protocol working for you? How many rounds have you done and

what improvements have you seen?

We also did IV CaEDTA and DMPS, though on separate days for about 9 months. We

decided to switch to cutler protocol and we are going on round 3 this weekend.

I would love to hear about others results too. I'm going to start my son soon,

but we are currently in the middle of a yeast flare (which scares me to start,

his yeast issues are awful but I know I need to get rid of the metals before

yeast will be under control)

some questions for now:

what brands of DMSA and ALA do you recommend? Where do you order from? We will

probably get chemet from our DAN, but our appt isn't until mid sept and I want

to start asap. How soon have others seen results and/or increased problematic

behaviour during chelating?

Thanks very much,

Kelley
