Guest guest
My son started very loud none-stop vocal about 2 weeks ago, driving everyone crazy. In addition to the vocal, his sensory issue, sleep, attention span all got a lot worse. This happened before, it usually lasted for quite a few weeks, then slowly disappear after 2-3 weeks. I feel this is happening more often and more intensive now. I can’t even take him out because of this. My DAN suspected it is strep ( I mentioned someone in my son’s classroom got strep throat right before his regression). While we are waiting for the strep test result (nurse told me to wait 4 weeks for lab results), what can I do? BTW, My son never had strep throat before, he didn’t even get H1N1 or flu even when his aid and his buddy friend both got it (he did have huge regression during the flu/H1N1 outbreak). I think whatever is happening must be related to viral/bacterial. I tried OLE yesterday, so far I haven’t seen any change, maybe it take more time? If you have similar experience, please let me know what worked for you. Thanks in advance for any suggestion!
