Guest guest
Calcium needs magnesium in order to be absorbed, per Dr. Mark Sircus. [ ] calcium wasting My hair tests show very high calcium which appears to mean I'm dumping/wasting. I have terrible teeth. I was taking K2 which appeared to help but may have contributed to a DVT (blood clot) so have been warned against taking it anymore. I'm on vit D and am GFCF but eat lots of greens and use calcium fortified almond mylk. I'm also taking Lysine but my upper jawbone appears to be dissolving so need to do something more to help my body use calcium properly. I haven't been convinced that supplementing calcium will help if my body can't use it properly. There's a family hx of artierosclerosis so I don't want to just put in more calcium that my body will send to the wrong places. I'd really like to keep the teeth I have. Suggestions welcome. I haven't had bone density checked because I've already had massive doses of radiation. S S ---------------------------------------------------------- Learn how to save time and money. Guest guest
I'm reading a great book....book, Your Bodies Many Cries for Water by Dr. Batmangheldi,M.D.. He states that water and unrefined sea salt are good for the bones....Salt is actually a hardening agent for your bones and a significant part of the structure of your bones. If you are lacking in the right salt in your diet then your body will rob the salt from your bones.. and then bones soften and calcium is lost....He states a ration of 1/2 t of salt per 2 liters of water per day. He recommends taking your weight and dividing it in half for the amount of ounces to drink. So if you weigh 150 lbs then you would drink 75 oz. a day. Of course this is if you have well functioning kidneys...and no water restrictions ... Also he indicates the way your body is designed it is better to drink the water throughout the day -- Re: [ ] calcium wasting Calcium needs magnesium in order to be absorbed, per Dr. Mark Sircus. My son required magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin K, and lysine to properly absorb calcium. Dana
