Guest guest
Heleen, I know this isn't what you were asking (or who you were asking), but one of the best things you can do for your kids is to teach them to prefer water over other liquids. I would shoot for that instead of focusing on tasty drinks. Just my opinion. Pam > > Hi Dana > > I had a look at your Yeast Diet. I believe my 5 year old son consume too much > fruit juices. Guest guest
I second that opinion. If you are beginning to detox your children, the less sweets the better. We only drink water here. > > > > Hi Dana > > > > I had a look at your Yeast Diet. I believe my 5 year old son consume too much > > fruit juices. Guest guest
I will surely agree with water only!! Better for yeast....better for the teeth and best flusher available about. We drink only water with Water kefir and milk kefir given with meals. The only milk they get is kefired and the only other thing besides water once a day they get a glass of water kefir. These are mainly for gut building and yeast protocol. Ronni Once in a great while they get a glass of kombachu....but only rarely. > > > > > > Hi Dana > > > > > > I had a look at your Yeast Diet. Guest guest
The taste of water really does matter. If your water tastes terrible, try to purchase a sink filter, container filter (like Britta) or whole house filtration system (chaCHING). We have a reverse osmosis system on our kitchen sink and refrigerator water dispenser. The kids say they can tell the difference. I sure can. > > > > > > Hi Dana > > > > > > I had a look at your Yeast Diet. I believe my 5 year old son consume too much > > > > > fruit juices. Guest guest
I know everyone was pushing water, but I thought I'd share the alternative our nutritionist suggested, because my son won't drink plain water either. He said to use a cup of water with 1/4-1/2 tsp Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) and 4-5 drops of liquid Stevia. It tastes kind of like tea and my son who was a juice addict now requests this. The nutritionist likes it because he says the apple cider vinegar is a natural probiotic and the stevia is a natural sweetener. Goodluck! > > > > Hi Dana > > > > I had a look at your Yeast Diet. Guest guest
I have come to love water (though I do drink one fruit juice a day). It's more of a treat with crushed ice and a straw. Sometimes I add a couple slices of lemon because I read that is great to alkalinizing the body.
