Thanks for the response!  How old is your son?  We are around the 60th round

of ALA, DSMA AC protocol now.  I hope that we see the gains that you did around

We did a 90 day course of Valtrex with our then 4 yr old. We had tiny gains

(such as he seemed a little more " there " maybe) and he seemed uncomfortable for

a lot of the time. Red eyes one day, crying and not wanting to go to school the

next. In retrospect, I would guess the drug made him feel ill, and that it

wasn't yeast or a " healing regression. " Not sure I buy the healing regression

thing.

So Valtrex didn't work for us. But our son has had significant gains from 65

rounds of the AC protocol. So that's encouraging.

treatment? My son is probably the worse behavior and irritability wise that he

has been in a long time. I know antivirals kick up yeast and we are on a

prescription and nonprescription yeast protocol. I am really discouraged. Any

insight/suggestions are welcome.
