So, I feel like I've come to a crossroads. After researching and being a member

of this group for a while, I feel that I have no time to waste in starting

chelation. So I got both of Andy's books and have started reading, and I will be

ordering a Hair Elements test this week. BUT... my daughter is being treated by

a DAN doctor. We are between appointments right now. The subject of chelation

has never been brought up by him, but I know that he has some kind of plan that

he is following. He had tests done that showed my daughter has some vitamin

deficiencies, some yeast, and TONS of bacteria in her gut. So she takes DMG,

vitamin D, zinc, cod liver oil, probiotics, and MB12 shots. She also finished a

7 week course of Fluconazole a couple of weeks ago. So we have sent her stool

and urine again to test and see if the probiotics and Fluconazole have been

effective in treating her yeast and gut bacteria. In a couple of weeks, we are

also supposed to get her blood drawn to see if the supplements are working or if

there are still deficiencies. So, to me, that's all good stuff we are doing, but

I'm growing impatient because I feel that chelation is what she needs. I feel

that we are treating " symptoms " instead of the " disease " . I feel that this

doctor is a good one and is doing his best to help my daughter, so if I start

chelating without him, I feel like I'm going behind his back when he has been

nothing but helpful. I feel that I have to do this, but I'm not sure if I should

continue with these supplements. I don't want to just ditch this doctor...I'm

just looking for support here.

Thanks,

Emerson
