Guest guest
Iam writing for some advise my son is going to be 12 in march , weve been at this for 5 years. My son is high functioning and doing well hes verbal but cant hold a converstion, but he can learn and is basically happy kid, all his supplements and yeast protocol is in place. Ok we have done dmps when he was first dignosed and we have done ncd , ac for a little , tried liver life and ndf plus did ok on that couldn't tolerate liver life made him very emotional, as i said hes doing great on his supps and good in school but not neally recovered still missing something, any advise on the ac protocol for him will it help him keep improving or should i go back to the ndf plus , with him doing well im thinking hes missing a good chelator to help him to keep improving , do you guys think at this age it will him to start the ac protcol . any one with older kids i would love to here from , feel free to email me off or on list really need some advise thank you all in advance. linda
Guest guest
Have you done any chelation using the Cutler 'low and slow' protocol. It is the #1 intervention for helping my young adult daughter. We did not begin until she was 16y so there is still time for marked improvement @ 12y. You can do the Hair Elements Test[info in files] to see what are the problem areas or you can just chelate. Make sure there is no amalgam in mouth before you do. The alcohol in liver life would be a big problem for my child. Milk thistle is an alternative liver support. > > Iam writing for some advise my son is going to be 12 in march , weve been > at this for 5 years. Guest guest
You need to do AC protocol and STICK with it. It takes a very long time but it does work. NCD- just search the archives or read the Onibasu Wiki about other chelators and why not to use them. supplements alone don't recover a child. Social stuff comes by removing that mercury. And I do think it will help him, it's not too late. Adults still regain/get social skills and improve with chelation. I would also suggest social skills therapy/group to help him beause at his age having social skills is becoming more imperative to functioning in the world. Guest guest
If he needs chelation, no age is too late. I haven't chelated my sons but have treated other issues. My oldest was 14 when the biomed stuff began to get addressed effectively and consistently (there were some stabs at vitamin protocols and such before that which did help but I didn't know enough to make major headway). He's 23 and so different from when he was a kid. I did some chelation in my late thirties to help address life-long health issues and have been resolving those issues. It is never too late. You just need to figure out what specifically your child needs. *Proper* chelation does a lot of good for a lot of people. Peace and good luck. Guest guest
My 15 yo boy is improving dramatically on this protocol and we just started this past year. I highly recommend it. We stick to the exact doseage and the schedule and just keep moving forward. Since my child got autism at age 19 mos, this is the best thing that has ever happened to us. Guest guest
I believe it's 1/4 mg per lb of body weight to start with. My boy is 134 lbs, which would be about 33mg, so I use 25 mg because it is easy to buy that doseage. It seems you might use the same doseage. Everyone told me LOW and SLOW so I'm taking their advice. I go every 3 hours around the clock. I think some people go 4 hours at night but I just stick with 3. It's a lot easier than I had thought. I have a kitchen timer and I just set it for 3 hours. When it goes off I re-set it for another 3 hours, and take him the pill. At night I put the timer on a little table near the bed - I don't use the bedside table because I don't want to turn it off like an alarm and think that I've hit snooze. Anyway the whole thing takes me less than a minute and back to bed again. It's very easy and it's a lot easier than dealing with severe rage and aggression before we started this protocol. My life has gone from misery to happy in 8 rounds. I even had someone in to patch up all the holes in the walls because things are going so well. Before I would just tape a piece of paper over them because I knew patching was a waste of time. I'm willing to get up any time, night or day, for this. I actually look forward to each round because I know I'm helping my boy. Deb > > > > Iam writing for some advise my son is going to be 12 in march , weve > been > > at this for 5 years.
