Any updates or info is appreciated. Thanks and crossposting. Vicki
Guest guest
They are usually viral children. They feel better when they have a fever because the fever is suppressing the viral condition as well as the current illness. There is no drug that does this...not that I'm aware of. Not sure I'd want a drug that induces fever or mimics one. It's not a natural state for the body. Consider looking into antiviral protocols and reading the EnzymeStuff website. Guest guest
Maybe Enhansa might help? Guest guest
This happens to Mickie too. What does Andy think about curcumin? and why from a compounding pharmacy and not a regular health food store? Also what is the difference between Curcumin vs Curcumin 95? Guest guest
Dont know about curcumin vs curcumin 95. I do know that there is a difference between Enhansa and the curcumin that you get from your health food store. The curcumin you get at the health food store is essentially tumeric, Enhansa has had the curcumin extracted. My son cant tolerate tumeric or OTC curcumin supplements due to the high oxalate content. Just makes him crazy, but has no problems with Enhansa which is low oxalate. Any updates or info is appreciated. This was my son for a time, before his immune system completely crashed and stopped fighting the viruses. It is a sign of a virus child. I used high doses of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, and lysine to eliminate this problem and correct my son's immune system. Dana
Guest guest
I'd probably go with Virastop for kids who get normal on fevers. Guest guest
I think if you search the old posts here or onibasu you will find Andy's opinion of Enhansa. I do recall him talking about it when this product first hit the ASD scene. Guest guest
As I recall Andy says that curcumin is no good for those who are high plasma cysteine. Enhansa and curcumin 95 are essentially the same thing- enhanced absorption curcumin, have used them myself interchangeably. If your child can't swallow pills- then you have to stick with the powder version from Lee Silsby. Guest guest
I know my kid is a viral kid I have just not been addressing it properly. This recent illness with fever has prompted me to take action. I am going to start with antivirals and enzymes. I will report back with what happens. Thank you all!
